The Kerambit seminar was held in Parma, Italy on the 11th and the 12th of October 2008 on the invitation of Guro Francisco Cotti.

The event was instructed by Carlo Andreis and assisted by members of the SSBD Training Italian Group: Christian Alfano, Michele Gammauta, Federico Mazza and Juan Moreno.

The seminar event was attended by friends from other martial art academies and schools Pier (Spartan on the forum) of the Krav Maga, Fabio Ganna of the Total Fighting System, Claudio Alfarano and the Italian group of Pukulan Pecutan, Storm of the Karate Go JU, Guardingo and Rodomonte of the Medieval Dagger of the Nova Scrima.

Carlo Andreis is the Italian SSBD Group Leader. I have not attended the event because I was in Regensburg, Germany conducting a different seminar but regardless, my strong support for his efforts as always.

The feedbacks from the event was very positive, this coming from experienced and great martial artists that participated in the seminar.

I have given permission for Carlo Andries to represent Silat Suffian Bela Diri in the sub-system of Karambit for this event. He has been training with me since May 2007 more than 10hrs every 2 months of my every visits to the date of the seminar. He was given special instructions on the "adat dan hormat" (culture and respect) on how to instruct SSBD. No one is to teach SSBD without understading this importrant aspect of Silat Suffian Bela Diri.
